Above The Line Coaching



Coaching is powerful individualized support for leaders over time that provides unique benefits in leadership development. It differs from mentoring in that coaching seeks to awaken,  expand and then self sustain the leader's own gifts and insights rather than to direct or instruct. It differs from therapy because it focuses on the health and the capacity of the person today rather than seeking to resolve old negative experiences.

Above The Line Coaching focuses on three elements: value- centered alignment, transformation, and impact. Coaching is often combined with Training to create  comprehensive, sustainable results that transform the individual's life and the organization.

Our emphasis is on awakening and transformation rather than change.

Booz Allen Hamilton hired a consulting company to study the return on its coaching program. The study found that all the leaders applied what they learned, 55% made significant relationship improvements with teams and peers. The benefits realized in 2003 were $3.3 MIL compared to coaching costs of $414,310…or a ROI of 689%.

 Individual Coaching: 

Individual coaching sessions are usually scheduled in this format:

  • Two or Three 45 minute (telephone) sessions per month
  • Starting with a two-hour discovery and planning meeting
  • Minimum commitment 6 months.
